Your Consumer Rights According To The Law Of The United Kingdom

As Zinexeon LTD is a business based in the United Kingdom, we are bound to follow the laws passed by the government. This means that we will extend the consumer rights of the United Kingdom to you, regardless of your location.

When we DO NOT have to offer a refund

We do not have to offer a customer a refund if they;
1) Knew an item was faulty when they bought it.
2) Damaged an item by trying to repair it themselves or getting someone else to do it.
(You may still have the right to a repair, replacement or refund)
3) No longer want an item (For example because it is the wrong size or color) unless you bought it without seeing it.

We do have to offer a refund for certain items only if they are faulty, such as;
1) Personalized items and custom-made items, for example, curtains
2) Perishable items, for example, frozen food or flowers
3) Newspapers and magazines
4) Unwrapped CD’s, DVD’s and computer software

Online, Mail & Phone Order Sales

Online, mail and telephone order customers have the right to cancel their order for a limited time even if the goods are not faulty. Sales of this kind are known as distance selling.

We must offer a refund to customers if you have told us within 14 days of receiving their goods that they want to cancel. You have another 14 days to return the goods once you informed us of the intended return.

We must refund customers within 14 days of receiving the goods back. You do not have to provide a reason.

Repairs & Replacements

If a customer has ‘accepted’ an item, but later discovers a fault, we may have to repair or replace it. The customer can still reject the item after it’s been repaired or replaced.

A customer has accepted an item if they have;
1) Told us they have accepted it (Having had enough opportunity to inspect the item before confirming they have received it)
2) Altered the item

We must repair or replace an item if a customer returns it within 6 months – unless we can prove it was not faulty when you bought it.

We can ask a customer to prove an item was faulty when they bought it if they ask for a repair or replacement after 6 months.

Warranties and guarantees

A customer has the same right to free repairs or a replacement regardless of whether they have a warranty or guarantee or not. So we may still have to repair or replace goods if a customer’s warranty or guarantee has run out.

Proof of purchase

We can ask the customer for proof that they bought an item from us. This could be a sales receipt or other evidence such as a bank statement or packaging.

Items returned by someone other than the buyer

We only have to accept returns from the person who bought the item.

Zinexeon Return Policies
  1. Customers may initiate a return of purchased items within 14 days of receiving their item. They then have 14 days to return the item from the time of our sales team confirming the intended return. The customer does not need to provide a reason for the return.
  2. Items returned (that are not faulty) must be returned in their original packaging and packaged well. If not, the customer may only receive a partial refund. This is because in some cases, not having the original packaging can affect the value of the item.
  3. Returned items will be returned to us at the cost of the customer. Only the initial cost of shipping and the cost of the item will be refunded.

Once our sales team has responded and confirmed the return, you will have 14 days to return the item to us. At which time, we will contact you again to confirm your return and refund have been processed.
